Sensors to detect temperature, pressure, and gases, such as CO2, have been around for centuries. However, the latest devices can measure a growing list of substances and process the data in real-time. Together, these devices will deliver a ton of data to companies, researchers, and eventually maybe to consumers, who can use it to provide better quality water, air, and soil to support human and planetary health.
In this Semiconductor Engineering article, COO Dave Fromm shares his observations on customer needs as sensors become more complex.
