Santa Clara, CA – November 30, 2018 – and its Division exhibited at two Silicon Valley events this month focused on the forthcoming fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0. At the 13thannual U.S. Technical Global Symposium sponsored by global specialty foundry TowerJazz, and at the Silicon Valley Expo & Tech Forum sponsored by the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA), attendees learned how an industry-wide initiative to integrate the latest in digital and manufacturing technologies will revolutionize the way integrated circuits are designed, packaged and assembled.
At the events, Promex Sales Engineer Colleen Ewanich provided attendees with information about design, assembly and packaging services for complex medical and biotech devices, while Quik-Pak Sales Engineer Michael Lau discussed how air cavity plastic QFNs can be assembled in five days, with quick-turn engineering builds for custom overmolded QFN packages available in as little as five weeks after validation of the customer’s design.
